Poster Presentation: 9th Grade Panel - Upperclass Students Share Their Stories
Limited Capacity seats available

- student recruitment techniques for community enhancement
- collaboration techniques for working with departments in school
- data collection/feedback

This was a counseling team collaboration project with the school's English department. There were many steps taken to establish when the panel would be appropriate in the English curriculum. Teachers polled their students on items that they would like to know about academically, socially, emotionally, and post-secondary. Recruitment efforts were intentional and conducted in a way with a short turnaround time. Intentional efforts were made to support the English teachers and participating students so that all had a worthwhile experience. This will hopefully spur more opportunities to collaborate with various departments for worthwhile activities in the future.
